Creating Clone Content and 301 Redirection for Client Sites

By April

In Hump Day Hangout Episode 61, someone asked about if cloning client site would be a good thing to do in order to protect link building assets. This is in response to using 301 redirections to protect money sites.

The exact question was:

Happy new year guys! In an earlier episode (15) of Hump day hangouts Brad discussed his method for using a 301 redirect to a clients money site so that we retain the benefit of all our link building work. You mentioned buying a domain and creating a mirror image of your clients site with the same page/post structure etc. Question: Can we create an exact copy of the clients content as well? This would be the ideal as creating a clone would be the easiest and fastest way of getting this done. Also how would you recommend setting up the 301 redirect with what we have available today ??? plugins etc?? Thanks allot.

Applying IFTTT Tactis to An Existing Non-IFTTT Network

By April

In Hump Day Hangout Episode 60, someone asked how to implement IFTTT tactics to an existing non-IFTTT network.

The exact question was:

I have a brand new full tier 2 IFTTT video syndication network I just received from you guys and obviously can't re-upload those videos through the new YT channel because they  will all be different URLs and be considered brand new videos. Would a good strategy be to embed these videos I want to boost as manual posts on the tier 1 Blogger (trigger blog) in my new network and then have the Blogger post act as the trigger to the other remaining properties in the tier 2 network giving me new high authority back links??

Is It Recommended to Use Paginated Content for Related Articles?

By April

A question on paginated content was raised in episode 60 of Hump Day Hangout. The participant was asking if using rel=”nofollow” and rel=”follow” is good for showing related contents in a website.

The exact question was:

Is rel=”next” and rel=”prev” worth implementing on websites? I imagine it might be useful to interlink related articles together using the tags and having all of the article pages link to a webpage you are trying to rank. Is this a good direction??

By April

During the 60th episode of Hump Day Hangout, a question on social ranking signals was asked. The participant would like to know recommended services to increase social signals to a website.

The exact question was:

Could you recommend a few good services or specific SEO gigs (fiverr, seoclerks, etc) for social signals to be used directly on the money site? I remember Bradley mentioning that fiverr social signal gigs have no impact cuz just spam social accounts, but would that also apply if the signals were drip fed for 7 – 10 days??

How to Position Yourself as an SEO When Presenting to Clients

By April

In Hump Day Hangout Episode 60, someone asked about how to properly position one’s self when submitting proposals to clients for SEO services. He would like to ask if you would present yourself as an SEO freelancer or an agency.

The exact question was:

What advice would you give about how to position yourself to potential clients when new to client work? Did you at first position yourself as a freelance SEO, a big web agency, an internet marketer etc. or did you make something up to stand out, like calling yourself an online profit specialist for example. Bit nervous about it, done a bit of web design and citation work but not SEO on a monthly basis, thinking of ranking them a video for small keyword before pitching them. WWBBD.

Can You Setup a Google Business Page without Physical Address & Contact Number?

By April

In the Christmas Edition (Episode 59) of Hump Day Hangout, one participant would like to know if it's possible to create a Google Business page without a physical address and contact number.

The exact question was:

Can i set up a Google My Business with out an address? or if I use my personal address will I get a bunch of business marketing flyers and crap in the mail, phone calls etc or does google keep my business address phone etct private from telemarketers?

Can I use a call tracking number or a google voice number as my business phone number in my GMB listing and citations i will create?

How many citations and how quickly can i build citations I see fiverr gigs offering like 50 in 3 days. Same thing for map citations how many and how quickly, plus then do you run them all through an indexer, drip fed or? *note my niche is truck finance with the biggest keyword gets 1k searches a month and the rest of $ keywords between 100 – 800 searches*

Should I suggest just hitting all my citations + map citations after they are created with GSA directly? I know probably should do FCS contextual first but I am broke and would be using a 5 – $15 seo clerk/fiverr gig to blast them. Also if i go this route will all that crappy CF pass down through the listings and give my site a really poor TF/CF ratio?

The exact question was:

Hey Guys! Merry Christmas!
Im a new RYS user, im just starting to watch the training videos and wanted to know:

1) which will be the best approach to apply RYS to affiliate marketing?

2) I create my own money sites regularly, should I use RYS to link to and rank my M$ ? Or I should try to rank the G properties instead?

3) As you know, affiliate offers are more competitive than local most of the times. Did you had success trying to rank G properties for affiliate promoting?
Thanks in advance.
