SEO Tasks to Prioritize for a 2-Man SEO Team

By April

In Episode 66 of Hump Day Hangouts, someone asked about SEO tasks that should be prioritized for a two-man SEO team.

The exact question was:

Hi guys, sup. I have a two-person, in-house SEO team working for me… they mostly do manual outreach for link building (we're at the point of having to try new verticals because we've emailed a billion people), I've taught them how to create IFTTT Networks, they do some simple on page tasks and some social media.

If you guys had a two person team of SEO associates for tasks like that, what would you focus on as far as what they should be learning and the most effective tasks they should be doing daily.

How to Build Links Using FCS Networker & GSA in IFTTT Networks?

By April

During episode 66 of Semantic Mastery's weekly Hump Day Hangouts, a viewer asked about the proper way of linking GSA and FCS Networker links in IFTTT networks. The participant wanted to know if it is recommended to create links for each posts or just link it directly to the homepage.

The exact question was:

Hi Bradley, when building links with GSA or FCS Networker should the links be built to individual posts on the IFTTT properties or should they be built to the Homepage of the properties. I would like to know this because I am confused regarding the Link Building Package with SerpSpace; the $240 Package will it build branded Tier1 links to the homepage or Individual Posts to Tier2 Properties.?

In the video, Bradley shows how to create links using the GSA search engine ranker. He also mentioned how link building is done in tier 3 and tier 4 rings. He discourages linking to individual posts since it is less practical and it can take too much time. He highly suggests the use of Backlink Commando, a plugin that can be installed on your WordPress site to automate link building. This plugin can grab all the RSS feed URLS of web properties in a syndication network like Tumblr and Diigo. This search engine optimization strategy is effective in improving your website's backlink profile.

Ranking Google Maps of a Website That is Hit By the Google Penguin Update

By April

During Hump Day Hangouts Episode 66, one question asked was about the possibility of ranking a Google Map with a website that is hit by the Penguin update.

The exact question was:

Hola Señorita, quick question.

Can you still rank in maps if the main website has been attacked by a penguin?

If I had a client who had bad seo done in the past, could you still rank in maps with all of the citation work, shema mark ups etc or would a penguin penalty leak over to maps? Thanks?

Is it Important to Seed High PA Blogs Before Connecting Them via IFTTT?

By April

One of the questions asked in episode 65 of the weekly Hump Day Hangouts was about the need to seed blogs with high page authority (PA) before connecting them via IFTTT.

The exact question was:

Hey guys..When using high pa aged blogs in a new network is it wise to do seed posts the same way we do on our regular blogs, then wait a bit (a week or so) before connecting them to IFTTT? Any other suggestions to do this correctly would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.. :-)?

Also wondering: Do long-standing, well-clicked videos on Page One tend to move from Exact to Broad(er) match queries if they stand the test of time??

By April

Can you over optimize images on your money site with keywords and geo tagging and stuff like that and do you geo tag the images you use for your citation sites, GMB pages, branded networks, etc. plus having the site name in the metadata of the images aswell, is that too much?

Thanks.?

How Many IFTTT Rings Do You Need to Optimize a Money Site Targeting Multiple Locations?

By April

During episode 65 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, someone asked about the number of IFTTT rings that should be built to optimize a money site that is targetting different locations.

The exact question was:

If a client has multiple locations with a page for each location on their site, would I need to create an IFTTT T1 for each location or would I create 1 IFTTT to the homepage? What would be the best and fastest way to power up the T1 properties. Should you wait for the T1 accounts to season before spamming them to increase TF and PA??
