Can’t We Use A GMB Account’s RSS Feed As A Trigger Point To Syndicate To A Branded T1 Network?

By April

In episode 222 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one viewer asked whether there’s a reason not to use the RSS Feed from a GMB account as a trigger point to syndicate GMB posts to a branded T1 network.

The exact question was:

Is there a reason why I couldn't just take the RSS feed from my GMB account and then use it a trigger point in my IFTTT account to syndicate those GMB post to my branded T1 network. In other words, create all those applets to each property and off it goes?

Wouldn't it add more power to my GMB posts when all these T1 properties link to my posts?

What'd you think?

Thanks

Is It Okay To Use A WordPress.com Web2 Instead Of An RSS As A Syndication Network Trigger Point?

By April

In episode 221 of the weekly Hump Day Hangouts by Semantic Mastery, one viewer asked if it is okay to use a wordpress.com web2 instead of an RSS as a trigger point to a syndication network.

The exact question was:

Working with a local contractor who has another host. His site is built on click funnels and has no native RSS feed. Without tipping the other host to a potential take over of the site the client doesnt want to ask the current host to add an rss function. I get it. So I have some spare Syndication networks in mgyb.co and I am going to use one for his property and thinking of using wordpress.com web2 as the syndication point / trigger. Any real issue with that before I press submit? Any suggestions otherwise?
