In the 91st episode of Semantic Mastery's weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked about using OBS to live stream a video to a pre-scheduled event in YouTube.
The exact question was:
Hope you're all having a good summer.
I've been trying on my own (but have been unsuccessful) utilizing OBS to stream video to “pre-scheduled” events on my channel that are already ranking on Google and YT (but just need to stream the actual .mp4 or .wmv to the scheduled event) to complete it.
Is there a way to do this with the version of OBS you have in your original training video?
If so, please explain the steps as I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance…Ed
OBS or Open Broadcaster Software is a useful tool for internet marketing, allowing professionals to stream to YouTube. In the video, Bradley provides a step by step OBS guide with the use of a stream key to place a prerecorded video file (.mp4 or .wmv) to an upcoming live event.
